Bijou Trio is a jazz trio formed in Amsterdam in 2023. They play their own arrangements of music from movies from the 20s till the 50s and the Great American Songbook. They keep in mind the tradition and they respect the history of the music while still incorporating elements from their modern influences. Our goal is to keep the music from that time alive, while arranging the pieces usually from big band and orchestras to the minimal trio setting.
