Inspired by legendary venues like New York’s Blue Note, London’s Ronnie Scott's we introduce Amsterdam’s Contra: the place to enjoy intimate jazz concerts from your dinner table. A chef's menu is served, accompanied by our wide selection of wines. To keep the balance between the listening experience and sharing the moment, the concert consists of 3 sets of 35-40 minutes, each followed by a break to enjoy your table, your company, and the atmosphere.

This edition we welcome Cruz del Sur! 

Cruz del Sur is a project that emerged between Granada and Amsterdam in 2025, drawing on both cultural traditions to offer an honest, daring, and contemporary vision in which flamenco, jazz, and impressionism dance to the same music. Thus, this trio emerges with the intention of reinterpreting flamenco styles through an innovative and contemporary lens in keeping with the times, while maintaining a deep respect for the tradition that came before. With an immersive repertoire of original compositions, and with occasional nods to melodies from the Andalusian songbook, Cruz del Sur guides you through a thematic journey from the snows of Mulhacén to the glowing embers of the forge.
